There are no specific changes or restrictions to their out of country coverage, except for students studying outside of Canada. There is no coverage extended to students outside of Canada at this time (September 28).
Sun Life is treating COVID-19 related emergencies like any other medical emergencies; however, members will not be covered for any period during or after a period of quarantine where they have not tested positive or are not displaying symptoms. Any request for extension of OOC coverage beyond the travel duration limit as set out in your contract are NOT covered.
